I have heard so many times that many people choose walking for weight loss. I personally love walking as a physical exercise to keep my weight at constant level. Here are some reasons why walking for weight loss:
- Walking is free. You don’t need any cost for these activities. No membership fees and no equipment to buy. Well, except for a pair of comfortable shoes.
- Walking can be done at almost anywhere. If the whether is too cold, snowing or raining you can find an indoor area, or you may look for an affordable used treadmill.Walking for weight loss can be fun. You can do it while listening to your favourite music and songs. Have an MP3 player with you when you walk. You can also listen to your favourite program from radio. If you use treadmill at home, you can walk while watching TV or video.

- Have a plan of your walking program which you can engage permanently. Consider where you can walk and how long for. As a beginner, don’t hardly push yourself to do it. The important thing is you can do it certain distance and time regularly
- Increase the intensity and accelerate of your walking for weight loss program. When you feel you have engaged to this program, you can now be more progressive. This is important if you walk for weight loss. It is better if you do more than you did at last time. So, just do an extra 25 to 50 yards, it is still meaning to your walking for weight loss program. Some other modification may be included such as running or jogging instead of just walking. You may start running for 20 minutes after every 10 minutes of walking. You can also choose different area such hills.
- Accelerate you walking for weight loss program by running healthy eating diet. Losing weight is always about the food or calorie you take and the energy or calor you burn.
